About this net worth calculator
Add up your assets and liabilities to find your net worth, entirely in your browser. List each asset on its own line as "label, amount" — savings, investments, property, vehicles — and do the same for liabilities such as loans and credit card balances; this tool totals each list and subtracts liabilities from assets to give your net worth. Use this workspace to prepare a result you can review before putting it to use. All processing takes place on your device, without an account or an upload of your inputs. Check the examples to understand the expected output, read the limitations for the supported scope, and reset the form when you want to start a separate task.
How it works
Parses each line as "label, amount", sums the amounts in each list, and subtracts total liabilities from total assets.
Try these examples
Assets "Savings, 500000" and "Car, 300000"; Liabilities "Home loan, 1200000" and "Credit card, 15000"
Net worth: −415,000
Assets "Savings, 500000"; no liabilities
Net worth: 500,000
Limitations & privacy
Each line must be "label, amount" with a non-negative amount; up to 200 lines per list. This is a simple sum, not investment or tax advice, and doesn't account for how asset values change over time.
Inputs and results stay in this browser. Only tool identifiers are stored for your recently used tools. You can clear that history from the directory.
