About this coin flip
Flip a virtual coin when you need a quick, unbiased decision, or flip many at once to see how heads and tails balance out over a larger sample. Enter how many times to flip, from a single toss up to a thousand, and the tool reports how many landed heads, how many landed tails, and the order they fell in for smaller runs. Each flip uses an independent fifty-fifty random draw in your browser, so results are not influenced by previous flips or by anything on this page.
How it works
Each flip draws a random number and treats it as heads below 0.5 and tails otherwise. Requesting twenty flips or fewer also lists the full sequence in order; larger runs report only the totals to keep the result readable.

A few good questions
Is the coin actually fair?
Each flip has an independent 50% chance of either outcome, the same as an ideal fair coin, using your browser's random number generator.
Can I flip more than one coin at a time?
Yes. Set any number from 1 to 1,000 to flip that many coins and see the combined heads and tails count.
Why don't I see every result for 500 flips?
The full sequence is only listed for 20 flips or fewer so the result stays readable. Larger runs show totals instead.
